A troop trip to Kiljava March 21st to 23rd.

A fun and memorable weekend for everybody. The top event of the spring 2025 is for all of us. The trip is for cubs, adventurers, trackers, explorers, rovers and adults from Friday night at 18:00 hrs to Sunday early afternoon at 15:00 hrs and for Squirrels on Saturday 10:00 to 15:00. 

For adults this a a perfect possibility to visit and meet scouts. You are welcome to Kiljava at 14:00 hrs. We arrange some program for you, a short set of on-boarding info of the youth program and a possibility to join dinner at 19:00 hrs.

We also need help for the whole weekend and extra hands arranging program, helping with catering and supervising scouts. Please register in!

Transportation by bus from Opinmäki for weekenders and Squirrels have carpooling. We will be back on Sun at 15:00 hrs at same spot.

It is Earth Hour Weekend and we will explore spring nature, play and compete, and test the skills we have learned in winter. Kiljava is a scout camp center in Nurmijärvi. It is situated by the lake and we have sauna. 

Event fee is 60 € including the venue, bus transportation, program and meals. 

Last day to register is 16.3.2025.

For accountability and openness we start to publish the budget of the events we arrange.

Gear list:

• Back pack or a duffel pack

• Sleeping bag, pillow and a sheet to cover the mattress, bedtime toy

• Towel, tooth brush and paste, soap etc.

• Your personal medicine. Please advice leaders of your medication.

• A water bottle. You do not need cutlery.

• Scout scarf

• A knife, pen and paper and a compass

• Water proof outdoor shoes

• Water proof jacket and trousers

• Beanie, gloves, scarf, extra socks and gloves

• Second layer under the jacket and trousers

• Underwear, may be set of extra also

• Comfortable clothing for inside activities

• Slippers/inside shoes/wool socks
